A Discussion on Cannabis Use

Treow Community, in partnership with the Supported Accommodation Association, invite you to this discussion session on managing cannabis use in your services.

The use of cannabis by young people is a concern for many supported accommodation providers. As well as the negative health implications for the user, as a class B drug, users run the risk of arrest, fines or imprisonment. SA providers often have the difficult task of trying to balance supporting young people to address their substance misuse, as the same time as ensuring illegal activity is not taking place in their premises.

In this Community session on Fri 20th June we’d like to hear from you, SA providers, about how you approach this challenging matter. We will pose some questions to facilitate a discussion, providing an opportunity to share you experiences, ideas and best practice.
