Treow Community, in partnership with the Supported Accommodation Association, invite you to this discussion session on Residential Children’s Homes on the 11th July, between 9.30am and 10.30am
The Guide to the Supported Accommodation Regulations make it clear that supported accommodation is NOT the right setting for young people with ‘complex needs’, or those who may be considered ‘high risk’. While pre-regulation, many SA services have successfully supported some of these young people and helped them achieve positive outcomes, to accommodate these young people now will put your SA registration at risk.
As such, some SA providers are considering widening their portfolio and exploring the option to branch out into Children’s Homes, where under 18s with more complex care and support needs can be accommodated.
Join us in the introductory session on Residential Children’s Homes. We’ll talk about the key elements of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the similarities and (more significantly!) differences with the SA Regulations and highlight areas for considerations for providers who may be thinking about this as an opportunity for future organisational growth.
Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to learn from industry experts, share best practice and network with your peers!
