The Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) is used by Ofsted when inspecting all children’s social care services. The SCCIF consists of 3 overarching themes, each of which is made up of a range of evaluation criteria which describe the benchmarks of effective practice. In this first session, we’ll focus on the first theme: the overall experience and process of children. We’ll help attendees understand what this should look like in a Supported Accommodation setting and give advice on how to demonstrate this to Ofsted when they come to inspect your services.
